'Fuller House' Introduces Kimmy Gibbler's Ex

I still feel like I'm in some bizarre/totally awesome '90s dream world whenever I am reminded that Full House is coming back to our small screens. Well, okay, technically it's not Full House — it's Fuller House , the Netflix spinoff and sequel series that will follow the grown-up lives of original cast members D.J., Stephanie, and Kimmy as they attempt to raise D.J. and Kimmy's kids under the same roof. According to the synopsis D.J. is now a widow, attempting to put back the pieces of her life in her childhood home, while her sister Stephanie is a single girl who puts her life as a singer and DJ on hold to help D.J. out. As for Kimmy, she is divorcee whose ex-husband is constantly trying to win her back — not an easy task, considering his "passions" lead him into the arms of other women. From what we know about Kimmy's ex-husband Fernando, this guy is going to be an interesting character to have around the house.

Fernando may be lacking in some husbandly qualities, but he does have one thing going for him: He's absolutely gorgeous. 36-year-old actor Juan Pablo Di Pace is very easy on the eyes, so it's no wonder that Kimmy was charmed by his character once upon a time. The Buenos Aires-born Di Pace has appeared on series like Dallas and Camp as well as in the musical-comedy Mamma Mia! opposite Meryl Streep and Amanda Seyfried, according to IMDb, so there's a good chance you have seen this good-looking dude before.

As for what Fernando, the character, will be doing when the series begin streaming on Netflix Feb. 26, it appears that most of his actions will involve bothering Kimmy. According to TVLine, it's Fernando's unabashed and very inappropriate "passionate" nature that will irk Kimmy. Though Fernando strayed during his marriage to the formerly nuisance-causing neighbor, Fernando is still desperately in love with Kimmy, and will stop at nothing to get her back. In fact, it seems that the one thing he won't do for Kimmy is stop begging for her to take him back — according to TVLine, Fernando is "relentless" in his pursuit of his ex-wife.

Though Fernando isn't Kimmy's favorite person, the couple do share custody of their daughter, Ramona, so there's just no way that these two won't be seeing a lot of each other — even if it's the last thing that Kimmy wants to do. But, hey, at least he knows more words that Kimmy's ex Dwayne.

And, I bet Fernando will say them in a really sexy accent.
