Who's The Mystery Lady, Zayn?
I don't know about you, but I'm going to need Zayn Malik to slow his roll just a little bit. Like, for instance, didn't he just release his music video for "Pillowtalk"? And, now we have another sexy music video to deal with? I need one post-One Direction banger and accompanying music video at a time, please. Let a girl digest and process these things, OK? Anyway, I can't stop what's already out there, so obviously I watched despite my protestations. And now I have to ask, who is the girl in Malik's "It's You" music video?
Yes, yes, we know, internet. As Entertainment Tonight (and just about everyone else) pointed out, she's not Gigi Hadid. I got that much. I mean, was anyone really expecting her to star in every single one of Malik's projects? It'd ruin the specialness of the one she already did or the one she may do again sometime in the future. Less is more with celebrity couples, I think. Besides, if they break up, he's probably going to want a music video that he can watch without having to relive his failed relationship, you know? OK, I'm getting ahead of myself, here. I'll refrain from breaking Hadid and Malik up before they've even really gotten started. Back to the gal in this music video.
For starters, her name is Nicola Anne Peltz. And, aside from rocking a mean cat eye, wearing the hell out of a gown, and rivaling Malik for the angstiest looks imaginable, she's also an actor. Here's some more in depth info on Peltz:
She Was A Child Actor
You may recognize her from her youthful projects like Deck the Halls, Harold, The Last Airbender, and Eye of the Hurricane, according to IMDb.
And, She's Pursued That Career Into Adulthood
But, more recently, she played Marc Wahlberg's daughter, Tessa, in Transformers: Age of Extinction and she also starred in the film Affluenza. Movies are great and all, but if you're more of TV person yourself, you may also know her as Bradley Martin on Bates Motel. That's not all, though. Peltz's upcoming film, Youth in Oregon is due out in 2016.
She Prides Herself On Being "Intelligent"
ASOS asked, "What would you most like people to say about you?" And, she told them, "That I'm intelligent." I say that's a perfect answer.
She's Got The Whole Instagram Thing Down To A Science
Dogs, scenic landscapes, and selfies. Yup, Instagram gold. After all, it makes sense she'd know how to take a good photo since she used to be a model.
So, if you didn't know, now you know— Peltz was quite a catch for this music video.
