Brie Larson's Love For Jacob Tremblay Is So Cute

by Kadeen Griffiths

Guys. Guys. If you haven't seen Room, then watching the red carpet at the 2016 Oscars might give you a decent idea of what to expect from the film. Co-stars Brie Larson and Jacob Tremblay love each other just as much off-screen as they did playing mother and son on-screen, and nowhere is that more evident than in Larson's quote about Tremblay during ABC's Oscars Opening Ceremony: Live From The Red Carpet. Tremblay had already sung Larson's praises to E!, mentioning that he was rooting for her to win an Oscar on Sunday, but it's just really sweet to see that his affection and admiration for her is being returned in such a big way.

When asked by Robin Roberts about her relationship with Tremblay, Larson wasted absolutely no time in expressing how important the 9-year-old actor has become to her and what a great asset he's been to her during the award show season. As she said:

I wouldn't be here without him. He's been my little shining light through this whole thing, through the making of the movie and then through this whole new process. He's been with me for every step of the way and his outlook on everything is just so inspiring and light. He's just easily excited and engaged in this whole situation.

Say it with me now guys: awwww. Between Tremblay telling every reporter that he can that Larson is an amazing person and actress that he loves and supports, and Larson telling reporters about Tremblay being her light in all of this, I just can't stop sobbing into my hands. Room is about a mother and a son under some pretty extreme circumstances, and it's clear that the filming of such a movie truly forged a bond between the two actors that portrayed the Newsomes. One that's just plain adorable, and makes the movie even more enjoyable.
