2 Ladies Who Won't Get Picked By 'Bachelor' Ben

by Alaina Urquhart-White

We are coming down to the wire, friends. The ladies of The Bachelor have been whittled down to the final three hopeful contestants and, on Monday, Lauren B., Caila and JoJo are heading into The Bachelor overnight dates. This is always where things start to enter the stratosphere of awesome with a good amount of awkward sprinkled in. Everyone knows that Ben has to make the decision of his life in a couple of weeks. He's going to be proposing to a lucky lady or walking out, rose in hand as a single man. But, if he does choose to get down on one knee, there's going to be a loser. So, who does Ben Higgins not propose to?

Unfortunately, there will be more than one broken heart at the end of this crazy journey. Only one woman (if any) will be on her way down the aisle with Ben come the finale. And, when it comes down to the final couple of women, they all have an extremely fair shot. There are plenty of reasons why Ben should choose each of the remaining three women, and he has forged truly deep connections with each one.

The promos for the remainder of the season hint that Ben will not exactly have a smooth ride to a proposal. He is shown tearfully admitting that he has fallen for two of the women and has possibly sent the wrong one packing in the limo. This definitely complicates any speculation but we can still do our best to try and narrow down his potential brides.

I will keep spoilers out of this because that ruins the fun of the whole speculation game. I personally like to use my very real detective skills to deconstruct subtle clues from the show to formulate a super scientific prediction.

Well, let's take a look at our candidates. JoJo, Lauren B. and Caila are still hanging in there this week. I'm going to make a bold prediction and say that Ben will not propose to Caila or JoJo. Why is that? I'm glad you asked.

Well, I'm thinking it might come down to JoJo and Lauren because something tells me that Caila is not one hundred percent what Ben wants. Don't get me wrong, I love Caila. Ben does seem to really like her too. He did say that he had the "deepest relationship" with her when he entered the hometown dates. What bothers me is that she claims that she loves him, but she would only tell her parents and the cameras. She wouldn't tell Ben. That seems kind of shady to me. I don't want to believe that Caila may be playing it up for the cameras a bit, but it's a possibility. If we see it, I'm sure Ben sees it. I think she may be a little too complicated for mellow Ben, as well. He seems a little overwhelmed with her at times as she tries to sort through her own feelings.

So, in my humble opinion, Caila will not be getting a proposal from Ben. Now, that leaves JoJo and Lauren B., If I had to make a guess, I would say that JoJo also does not get a ring in the end.

JoJo and Ben seem like they are a perfect match, and I can totally see her being one of the two women he falls in love with. The issue comes around because her brothers were over-the-top. I love a good protective brother but Ben legitimately said, "it just wasn't the hometown that I would've liked." That's not a good sign, and I think the idea of marrying into her family might be a little too much for Ben to handle. Since I believe JoJo is one of the ladies that he falls for, I think it will come down to smaller differences like this one that will push his decision to one side in the end.

I don't think that it will come down to JoJo going home because she isn't perfect for Ben. I think it will just be coming down to him choosing someone who is just a tiny bit more perfectly suited for him. That person is Lauren, in my opinion. But, in the end, we have to tune into the finale to see the drama go down, and it's sure to be a doozy.
