Denim On Denim Styles Aren't Going Anywhere

While the Canadian tuxedo has gotten some flack in the past, supermodel Miranda Kerr’s latest airport outfit is the perfect example of how to do the denim on denim trend right. Known for many a good outfit inspiration, Miranda Kerr’s denim on denim look ranks on the top of my list. From her perfectly coiffed new ‘do to her mixed denim pieces, Kerr is the epitome of airport chicness, if that's even a thing.

According to The Daily Mail, The 32-year-old model and girlfriend of Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel arrived at LAX after a long flight from Japan wearing a denim-heavy outfit that was comprised of a faded denim button-up and a pair of bright blue jeans. She expertly accessorized the look with a pair of round frame sunnies, a black and white carry-all, and barely-there nude heels. Seemingly to disguise the fact that she had been on a plane for quite a few hours, she brightened up her face with one of spring’s hottest trends: a dark pink lip.

While I can’t see myself wearing heels or a statement lip on my next flight out of town, I can see myself rocking this look in my everyday life. As Who What Wear reported, "It seems like denim-on-denim went from an of-the-moment trend to a classic outfit go-to, and Miranda Kerr is reminding us why."
