17 Best Gingham Pieces To Shop For Spring

by Sienna Fantozzi

I'll admit I might be biased because I'm a Southerner, but gingham is hands down my favorite print. While it can definitely be worn in the fall/winter, I generally think of it as more of a spring/summer pattern. Besides, it looks so good in pastel colors. Now that spring is officially here, I've rounded up some of the best gingham pieces to shop. Tis the season to wear all the gingham.

While a lot of people think of gingham as being a traditionally preppy print, it's actual more versatile than you think. It can be sophisticated — DVF's Spring 2015 collection is still one of my all time favorites (Kendall Jenner slayed on that runway), and I mean, as long as you stay away from the baby blues and light pinks, it can definitely be worn in a bit more edgy way. Whether you prefer rocking the print in full, like on a dress, keeping it limited to a skirt or shorts, or just getting a little pop of it from a hat or your shoes, there are plenty of different items (and colors) to shop this season that let you incorporate some gingham into your wardrobe. Spring/summer will be over before you know it, so make the most of the print while you can!
