Did You Catch This In The "Dangerous Woman" Video?

by Michelle Lulic

Ariana Grande's second music video off of her upcoming album, Dangerous Woman, is, of course, for the single she released of the same name. However, while Ariana Grande is singing about getting more dangerous, it seems as if her music videos are showing a lot more of the same. Between the subtle movements, the sultry looks, and the mood lighting, I'm pretty sure you can mute one video and play a different song on top of it and it will still work out. A casual Grande fan might not have noticed, but if you're as obsessed as I am, then the "Dangerous Woman" music video is basically the exact same thing as the "Love Me Harder" music video, and that's a little disappointing.

Now, don't get me wrong. If you've got it, flaunt it, and Grande has definitely got it. But, while you can't deny the former Nickelodeon star's sex appeal, I also find myself craving more from the singer music video-wise. I'm talking about opportunities she can take that include in-depth storylines, different locations, and maybe even appearances by other actors. Grande has wowed us with music videos before, like with the amazing dance moves in "Focus," the apocalyptic "One Last Time," and the throwback factor of "Problem." However, as of right now, the first music video of the two she is set to release for the song "Dangerous Woman" is what it is.

So, let the comparison begin. Seriously, even her outfit pretty much looks the same.

1. Sliding Her Hand Down Her Leg

Although I have to say that they do look silky smooth.

2. Arching Her Back

Got to get the morning stretch in... Am I right?

3. Rustling Her Hair

Her hair is long and luscious. If my hair was that long, I wouldn't stop touching it either.

4. Self Hugs

You've got to love yourself before anyone else can love you.

5. Puppy Dog Eyes To Camera

Who could resist those eyes?

6. Sleeping On The Job

I'm tired too, girl. I'm tired, too.

7. Elbows To The Sky

Forget about throwing your hands in the air. It seems like throwing your elbows up is your best bet at an Ariana Grande concert.

I will always and forever be a fan of Grande, but I think it's safe to say that fans ready to see something new. Fingers crossed for what we might expect from Visual 2. Check out the first music video below.

The full Dangerous Woman album is out May 20.
