Adam Levine Confirms He's A Dad-To-Be

by Chloe Kent

Maroon 5 fans and Victoria's Secret Fashion show watchers, I've got some good news — it seems like Adam Levine has finally confirmed wife Behati Prinsloo's pregnancy. Over the weekend, Levine posted a cute Instagram post of the model poolside, showing off her growing stomach. Us Weekly first reported the news of the couple's pregnancy on March 10, but until this weekend, Levine had yet to publicly confirm that he and his wife of nearly two years were expecting their first child.

While this is the first official glimpse fans have gotten of the pregnant Prinsloo, the model hasn't exactly been shy about revealing her growing baby bump, stepping out in Los Angeles and on red carpets wearing form-fitting clothes. Yet neither she nor Levine had actually confirmed the pregnancy until this most recent Instagram, which features a bikini-clad Prinsloo laying out by the pool, wearing a Lakers cap. Levine captioned the pic, "My two favorite Lakers fans," adding baby and bottle emojis. Aww.

Although this is the first time the couple has confirmed the pregnancy, they haven't held back from talking about the subject of having kids. Both have said they want a lot of children; when Levine was asked by Ryan Seacrest in 2014 how many kids he wanted, Us Weekly reports that he answered, "I want to have 100 kids. I want to have more kids than is socially responsible." Prinsloo, meanwhile, told The Lowdown last year, "I’ve always wanted a family since I was a little girl, a big family," she explained. "I’m an only child so I wanted like 10 kids... for sure."

Based on the duo's exuberance for children, it's clear that the couple will make great parents — and bless their future kid with some serious musical and modeling talents.
