Super Important: New 'Sharknado 2' Casting

We talked a few weeks back about the fact that Sharknado 2: The Second One will be bringing Sharknado stars Tara Reid and Ian Ziering back into the fold for their reprise. Well, prepare yourselves, people eagerly awaiting Sharknado 2 : Vivica A. Fox, Kelly Osbourne, and more have been added to the cast, and they're sure to be explosive — or at least devoured by a shark at some point.

Here's the full list of Sharknado 2 new additions:

• Vivica A. Fox (Independence Day)
• Kelly Osbourne (Fashion Police, Are We There Yet?)
• Judah Friedlander (30 Rock)
• Andy Dick (NewsRadio, The Andy Dick Show)
• Mark McGrath (of the band Sugar Ray)
• Judd Hirsch (Taxi, also Independence Day)

In other words: Battle down the hatches and prepare for farce. That special brand of ludicrous B-/C-list farce in which the majority of these people will probably die bloody deaths inside a shark's mouth. This particular episode in Sharknado history will have the shark-storm hitting Manhattan. Here's what Deadline said about the rundown of the characters that came from this casting (or vice versa):

One of those signed will play a New York City police officer. Another will play a friend of Fin’s who goes by the name Skye. One will play a flight attendant. Another will portray a taxi driver. Still another will play Fin’s brother-in- law. And someone will play someone named Brian.

So who's your bet on who'll play who? I'd peg Osbourne for either a chick named Skye or the flight attendant, and Fox for either that flight attendant or the police officer. Get your Sharknado polls going, I guess?
