The Bangerz Tour, Complete With Imaginary Animals

by Mallory Schlossberg

AAAAAAND, it’s here! The long-awaited, very weird and head-scratching images have finally arrived in full flesh form, since Miley Cyrus’s Bangerz tour opened last night at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver (the first of 59 stops), and it’s just as weird as we all hoped and feared.

The former Hannah Montana (seriously, when you think about it, it feels like it’s time to do a sad ceremony soaked in youthful tears) did more than just fly around on a hot dog as anticipated, but she showed off with a 20-song set (well, the girl's got vocal stamina), which included the more youthful and innocent "Party In The USA" as a throwback encore. She also apparently tamed things down a tad (despite her sung claims that she, ahem, can't be tamed) with an acoustic cover of Dolly Parton's "Jolene," because in case you didn't remember, IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MUSIC.

Ms. Cyrus tweeted some moments from the much-talked about tour, including some very Miley-appropriate pelvic thrusting n a bedazzled unitard (because what else do you do in a bedazzled unitard besides show off your raging sexuality that you simply cannot contain) and rolling around on the floor for money 'cause she's a "#moneyhungryhoe." (Is that trending everywhere? Let's go consult our hoes and find out!)

Naturally. Let's take a look at some more classy moments from the opening night of Bangerz.

Oh, Miley. Never one to not show us her ass. Oh! The imaginary animals made their much-anticipated debut in front of a live audience.

Those certainly are not the imaginary animals that hump everyone form my imagination, but hey, to each her own. But hey, to quote a song from EONS ago (or her best friend Leslie, if they're still BFFs), she may...just be... you know, "just bein' Miley."
