'Scorpion' Will Return With More Epic Moments
Fans of Scorpion have reason to both rejoice and mourn this week. The cause for celebration is the fact that CBS renewed Scorpion for Season 3 back in March, as reported by TVLine. However, Monday, April 25 also marks the Season 2 finale, which means that though this is not the last we will see of Walter O'Brien, we'll have to wait before witnessing more of his genius skills. The question is, just how long will that wait last? The Scorpion Season 3 premiere date has not officially been announced yet, but O'Brien-inspired logic serves that it shouldn't be too long from now.
Scorpion, which is inspired by the life of real computer genius Walter O'Brien, has always premiered in the fall. The first season began on Sept. 22, 2014, and Season 2 graced our screens on Sept. 21, 2015. With that sort of pattern, I would surmise that this means Season 3 should premiere around the third week of September this year — perhaps on Sept. 19, 2016. Though it seems like a lifetime from now, it won't be long until your favorite hackers come back to you.
This season has had its fair share of turbulent ups and downs, which is why it's no surprise that Scorpion is coming back for more. With storylines involving a Russian nuclear crisis, chaotic missions in the Middle East, and all of the drama surrounding Walter and Paige, every fan is eager to see what will come next. But since we'll have to wait for that, let's look back at some of the most exciting moments Season 2 has delivered — or will deliver soon.
Toby vs. Mark
Monday night's finale will finally see the Scorpion team face off against evil genius and former Scorpion team member Mark Collins (Joshua Leonard). The previews make it seem that after Toby diagnoses him as insane, Mark doesn't take it very well. No matter how it plays out, this is bound to make for an epic season finale.
An Epic Car Chase
The team comes up against some trouble involving chutes, ladders, and trucks. All in a day's work for the hackers who are looking to save the world from destruction once again.
Walter Asks Paige Out
For a man with an IQ of 197, it would seem as though asking the girl of his dreams out would be a no-brainer. However, it seems as though Walter encounters his most difficult situations when dealing with Paige. Who knew that asking someone out was harder than hacking NASA at age 13?
Teamwork
The best example of teamwork that makes the dream work. The meeting of the minds is always the most delightful part about Scorpion, so I'm hoping that Season 3 will bring many more moments like this when it finally premieres.
