First, contouring was all the rage, and while I never quite figured that one out, I admire you if you did, followed by strobing, which, admittedly, was easier to master and much more feasible, if a bit much for lazy girls who like minimal makeup. But now, "non-touring" is the next big makeup trend, according to HelloGiggles. And it’s the easiest and most practical one of them all.

What is this “non-touring” thing, anyways? Well, it’s basically a super hip way of saying "natural-looking, dewy skin." Yep, that’s it. It’s all about keeping makeup light (especially the foundation portion) and using a great highlight to give your face a radiant glow. So, fear not! You can still put those strobing products to good use to get your cheekbones sparkling.

This makeup trend is coming around just in time for summer, and the timing couldn’t be more perfect. Because this lightweight approach to makeup is just what your skin needs for a day out in the scorching heat.  If you feel the same way, find out how the “non-touring” trend is done and get some inspiration from celebs like Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid, who, according to Sanganoo, have mastered the look.

These two do always manage to look effortlessly gorgeous.

What's their secret to achieving the perfect glow?

This whole "non-touring" way of doing makeup could be just the trick to achieving the look.

Here are the steps you need to follow to nail the non-touring trend, according to Marie Claire.

1. Start With A Primer

Laura Mercier Radiance Foundation Primer, $38, Sephora

Using a primer with a major shimmer quality will only help you achieve the perfect dewy glow.

2. Follow With Lightweight Coverage

Perfecting Skin Tint, $26, Glossier

This moisturizing skin tint is lightweight, moisturizing and gives just a hint of color. Just the kind of thing you need! As HelloGiggles points out, you can also use a BB cream.

3. Add A Highlight

Go on and highlight your heart out! Sanganoo recommends, highlighting "on the planes of the face where light would hit naturally—above the cheekbones, under the brow bone, down the bridge of the nose, and on the cupid's bow." Done, done and done. Told you it was easier than going full-on Kim K.

This video by vlogger Chloe Morello involves more products than Sanganoo says are necessary, however it does show you how to achieve a similar look to non-touring. If you don't want to fully commit to ditching all your products, this tutorial shows you how to do that while keeping things pretty natural.
