ColourPop's Matte X Lippie Stix Have Arrived!

Mattes are here to stay. The Matte X Lippie Stix from ColourPop Cosmetics are here and they are pretty fabulous. This version of the brand's Lippie Stix is more evidence of the popularity of the matte texture. The L.A.-based brand, which offers high quality, insanely pigmented products at amazingly affordable prices, launched the new lipsticks on April 28. There 15 trendy shades are described as super intense and super matte, with a gel-like texture that leads to flexibility without cracking. These Lippies are said to have a smooth and lightweight, comfy feel. Best of all, they are just $5 piece. That's a maj steal. The main difference between the Matte X and, say, a Kylie Lip Kit, is that these are solid and packaged in twist tubes. They're not liquid lipsticks with a wand. So, are the ColourPop Matte X Lippie Stix sold out?

Good news, matte lip lovers! As of press time, only one shade is sold out and that's Hollywood Blvd, which is a yellow-toned brown. The rest of the shades are there for the taking. With the beyond bargain price tag of five bucks, you can grab a few and not feel any sort of buyer's remorse.

The product promises "a matte look with a silky, cushiony feel." As anyone who rocks a matte lip knows, dryness can be a concern.

These babies look like so much fun! You can proceed to paint your pout with reasonably priced Lippie Stix. Oh, they are also totally vegan.

Pillow Talk Matte X Lippie Stix, $5, ColourPop

This griege is named after a Zayn Malik song... maybe? That means Gigi Hadid so needs to wear it.

Because purple!

Cami is such a darling mauve pink!

Overall, the ColourPop Matte X lipsticks seem akin to Katy Perry x COVERGIRL Katy Kat Mattes, because they are both sticks.

If you keep missing out on Kylie Lip Kits or Manny MUA x OFRA Cosmetics liquid lippies, you can totally rock this affordable alternative. Again, Matte X Lippie Stix come in stick form, aren't liquid, and don't have a wand. But they still own when it comes to that sexy matte finish.
