Video Of Obama's Correspondents Speech Is Here

by Nicole Pomarico

The White House Correspondents' Dinner is something I look forward to every year, but this year's was a little bit different. This year was the last time we got to see President Obama at the helm of the dinner, which also meant it was the last time he would be delivering what is always his funniest speech of the year. It's a huge bummer, since he always drops perfectly timed jokes and zingers in equal measure, but fortunately, in the age of the Internet, moments like this one can be relived over and over again. In case you missed it the first time or want to watch all over again, there's already video of Obama's Correspondents' Dinner speech, and it was just as amazing as you'd hoped it would be.

Since it's the last speech of his term, I assumed he'd go all out on this one, and I was right. From the jokes about how he's aged over the last eight years (while Michelle has not) to how he didn't want to come to this dinner in the first place, this might actually have been his best speech ever. He even roasted Jake Tapper about "leaving journalism to join CNN." What's not to love?!

That was a pretty perfect way for President Obama to say goodbye to the White House Correspondents' Association.
