What 'Teen Mom 2' Star Javi Does In The Military

Many Teen Mom significant others have come and gone, but unlike the rest of the lot, Javi Marroquin has remained a fixture on the show and in Kailyn Lowry's life. If you haven't caught up on the show in quite some time (like a really, really long time), the two are married and have a child together, a son named Lincoln, in addition to Kailyn's first child, Isaac, with her ex, Jo Rivera. But while Teen Mom 2 is a major part of Javi's life, there's something even more prominent: his job in the U.S. military. But what exactly does Javi do in the military?

Well, that's a great question. As it turns out, Javi is in the Air Force. According to Wet Paint, he graduated from Air Force training in May 2013 and reportedly posted a picture of his uniform on Instagram, which has since been deleted, with the caption, "Now it's hitting me. Graduation is right around the corner. Means home is a couple days away.” Aww!"

At the time, Lowry had also tweeted her congratulations, saying,

So proud of my husband for graduating! I feel an emotional reunion coming up for us next week. #USAF @JaviM9 #hua

While a majorly prestigious and honorable accomplishment, sadly, nearly three years later, Kailyn and Marroquin find themselves apart because of it once again. Javi has been deployed and fans of Teen Mom 2 were positively gutted while watching it happen on air. I mean, could you blame them?
