Christina Aguilera Dyed Her Hair Lavender & Made Pastel Look So Edgy — PHOTOS

Spring is all about the light pastel colors, and as good as they look on your clothing and accessories — they look even better in your hair. Christina Aguilera dyed her hair lavender, according to People Magazine, and as soft and feminine as that sounds, she made it look totally edgy.

Colored hair has been big in Hollywood for a while now, and Aguilera decided to jump on the candy-colored bandwagon, debuting a lavender dye job on Monday night's episode of The Voice. And even if you love her as a blonde, once you see this, you might just like it even better. It's that gorg. The singer's hair is now a soft shade of lilac, and as girlie and romantic as that is, her styling kept it looking seriously edgy.

Aguilera wore her hair straight with a center part, and had a face-framing braid on one side, studded with a series of large metal rings. And yeah, it's just as fierce as you're imagining it is. She kept her makeup dark to up the edgy vibes, with a deep plum lipstick, bold lashes, and some lavender eyeliner to complement her hair, and the whole thing was literal perfection.

Flawless. I cannot get enough of that braid, and the color is seriously stunning. She's been a blonde for a while, but she did experiment with colors every now and then:

She had dip dyed back in the '00s, and remember her "Lady Marmalade" curls?

And then there was that time she went brunette. Forgot about that, didn't you?

But she inevitably went back to her comfort zone and has been a blonde for several years now. Which she totally rocks, but I'm kind of digging the lavender. Here's hoping it sticks around at least for the rest of summer!
