This New Game Is Like Wii Fit For Sex

by Lea Rose Emery

If you never go to the gym because it's just too boring, this may be the new exercise trend for you. We've all heard that sex is a good workout, but Pornhub decided to make it all a bit more literal. They've introduced BangFit, which is exactly what it sounds like — a gamified fitness program that allows users to strengthen muscles through sexercise. It's one of those things you never knew you wanted to try, and then someone tells you it exists and you say "YES, PLEASE MORE PLEASE".

Corey Price, Pornhub VP, said in a press release:

We know from experience that there’s one activity people are always motivated to do and one for which they are never too busy. That’s getting busy. That’s why we came up with BangFit, which gamifies sex and encourages users to pump while they hump. Think of it as the Wii Fit for sex.

Yes, someone was paid to come up with the phrase "pump while they hump." Just think about that for a moment. The game even provides a calorie breakdown of how much the man and women burn while doing the positions— and one lesbian position, although I can't say it's one I've ever done.

The kind of SFW video is available here. These are are my favorite parts:

The Classic

Who doesn't like a little Da Vinci reference in their porn and sex-based workout videos? I like that it's just thrown in there for fun.

Flex Those Muscles

They remind you that when it comes to having sex, you work out way more than just one muscle with this frankly horrific rendering of a two people which makes me want to decide which bit of them I'll have for my steak. But I get it, muscles and working out and all that.

Choose Your Own Adventure

You put your phone on a little band available through their website, and then choose your routine, whether it's basic positions, like 'Missionary Press' or more athletic positions, like 'Squat and Thrust.'

Using a smartphone, which you attach to your hips, the accelerometer and gyroscope technology track the number of repetitions successfully completed and gives you scores and the amount of calories burned. Holy crap. This game is way more techie than I expected.

Share And Share Alike

Yes, you can share your results on social media — or as they call it, "Facegram"— to show off. Although I'm really not convinced anyone will ever do this, I really wish they would. It would be so much more fun than hearing you shaved 30 seconds off of your 5K time. I'm looking at you, Karen. You hear me?

I mean, the whole thing is pretty ridiculous, but with slogans like "Less morning run, more morning fun" and "It's time to work out... and in... and out..." I'm a fan. You can get a belt on their website, find a partner, and get started. Seems like it's a lot more fun than spin class.
