When Is Lauren Graham's New Book Out?

If you've ever wished you could read a book by the wonderful and wise Lorelei Gilmore, turns out you might be getting the next best thing. Lauren Graham's new book Talking As Fast As I Can! is coming soon, the actress announced on The Ellen Show , and you can soon have it in your hot little hands. Because if you can't soak up the wit and wisdom of Lorelei herself, hearing from the woman who brought her to life is probably the next best thing.

The new memoir is due to be released on November 22, 2016, according to Penguin Random House, and it promises to be a collection of "stories about life, love, and working in Hollywood." So not exactly a tale of moving to Stars Hollow as a teenage single mother, but still, Gilmore Girls will definitely be part of the book — making it potentially the exact behind-the-scenes perspective you've always wanted.

“This book contains some stories from my life: the awkward growing up years, the confusing dating years, the fulfilling working years, and what it was like to be asked to play one of my favorite characters again," Graham writes about the memoir.

So not only are we getting more Gilmore Girls in the form of a revival, we are also getting more behind-the-scenes talk about Gilmore Girls.

But of course it won't be all discussion of everyone's all-time favorite mother-daughter show. Though it does sound like there are a few Lorelei-esque adventures lurking in the pages of Graham's life — or at least adventures Lorelei would have enjoyed. For instance, Graham added that, "Also included: tales of living on a houseboat, meeting guys at awards shows, and that time I was asked to be a butt model. A hint: all three made me seasick.”

November seems like a long time to wait for the memoir, but you can already preorder it from Penguin Random House here. And hopefully it will be enough to tide us over until...whenever they're planning to air the revival. Hey, hopefully by the time Graham's memoir comes out we'll have a real release date!
