Watch Jimmy And JT Kill It With Their Flow

by Mallory Schlossberg

Um, this is seriously great. Last night on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake closed out the week by performing “The History of Rap 5," and it pretty much made everybody's week. The sketch was already a fan favorite from back when JT appeared on Fallon’s Late Night, but it's now reached new heights of hilarity, with fans calling it "the best thing ever." (It just might be.)

If you had any doubts that Jimmy Fallon was going to be a phenomenal replacement for Jay Leno (not that you should have after his great first show), surely this should quell any doubts. Jimmy’s got FLOW, and alongside Justin Timberlake, the two certainly work the crowd.

The two freakin' nail it with smooth rhymes from old school rappers, like The Beastie Boys, Salt 'N' Pepa, and my personal favorite, Skee-Lo ("I Wish" is a classic way to impress everyone with your squeaky clean rapping skillzz). Not to mention, they give a Lil' Bow Wow song from his pre-Bow Wow days a hilarious treatment, and do a killer rendition of Outkast's "So Fresh So Clean" together.

This was just another highlight for an already strong week (it was already the most-watched week of The Tonight Show in years), and closing out the week with this number seems like Fallon just keeps setting the bar higher — in the best way possible — while showing audiences that he's a damn good host and entertainer.

But seriously, you must watch this and experience the absolute joy that the rest of us are experiencing.
