Did Tara Reid & Dean May Split After 'Boot Camp'?

Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars returns to WE tv for Season 5 on Friday, June 3 at 10 p.m. ET, and it's bringing with it a whole new crop of celeb couples struggling to stay afloat. One of those is made up of actress and star of the short-lived reality series Taradise Tara Reid and Dean May, the latter of which is described as a "party boy" in the network's description of this season. Since these two are some of the more explosive participants in the trailer for this season of Marriage Boot Camp, seeing them on the show will definitely make you wonder if Tara and Dean are still together.

Let me preface this by saying that Tara and Dean's relationship seems to be more casual than other couples that have appeared on and will appear on Marriage Boot Camp this season. Tara and Dean have known each other for about 15 years, and they say they've dated plenty of other people but have still remained close during that time period, according to the couple's bio video on WE tv's website. These best friends say they joined Marriage Boot Camp to help improve their communication, spend more time together, and ultimately figure out if they want to take their relationship to a new, romantic level in the future.

So that may explain why there isn't too much information available about Tara and Dean's romantic involvement before they arrived on Marriage Boot Camp. However, the two have taken several photos together over the years that show them being besties.

Now, back to the question about whether or not Tara and Dean are still together today. Unfortunately, the answer is unclear. The most recent photos of the pair together seem to be from February of this year.

Dean seems to be busy having his own fun as he launches a new party in Los Angeles called Fourteen. It also looks like he's smooching model Victoria Klemme in the bottom lefthand corner of the below photo as they hit up Coachella last month.

That especially makes it seem like Tara and Dean have split since their time on Marriage Boot Camp — or at least decided to remain just friends after all. Though some Marriage Boot Camp couples took a trip to splitsville after their time on the show ("Mama June" Shannon and Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson, Tanisha Thomas and Clive Muir), a surprising amount have remained together since they tried to hash out their relationship issues in front of a national TV audience. If Tara and Dean are in fact still BFFs, we might as well just count that as a win, too.
