Jennifer Lopez Didn't Make It To The 2016 Tonys

To say Jennifer Lopez is a powerhouse is almost an understatement. Just look at her resume, and you'll find singer-songwriter, dancer, actress, author, and producer, to name just a few titles. And tonight, I was hoping she would solidify her fashion icon title: Jennifer Lopez didn't make the 2016 Tony Awards, though, but I can only imagine how amazing she would've looked.

Last year, Lopez looked like an absolute vision in a navy blue and gold dress and sultry updo with a deep side part. But for years, Lopez has been know to surprise (and slay) on the red carpet. Anyone remember her green Versace Grammys dress? That's right, you do, because it's one of the most infamous looks in red carpet history. When we talk about a deep v, this is what we're talking about. Whether she's in a music video, press appearance, or even that one time I saw her in Restoration Hardware in New York City (looking nothing less than an angel, I might add), she looks absolutely stunning.

In her repertoire, you'll find amazing bodycon dresses, killer jumpsuits, and leg-baring slits. Plus, she's not afraid to experiment with color (I fawn over her canary yellow look at the 73rd Golden Globes). Basically, I don't think I've ever seen her not completely own a look. But beyond her amazing style, we all love J.Lo for her infectious laugh and the fact that she's BFF with Leonardo DiCaprio. From her humble beginnings as a Fly Girl in In Living Color, she's certainly made quite the career for herself.

While I was certainly disappointed that I didn't see her on red carpet, it's for good reason: She's on tour! J.Lo performed last night, as per fans posting all over social media about it.

I would want to be there, too! Lopez encouraged her fans just a few days ago to get a tank from her tour.

Ok, so I'm going to need one of those now...

I think it's safe to say that if Lopez had shown up on the red carpet tonight, she would've taken the title of favorite look from me. She always finds a way to take that honor whenever she shows up to anything! And tonight definitely wouldn't have been an exception. For all those fans that are enjoying her concert: Lucky you! We're jealous.
