When 'Teen Mom 2' Returns For Season 8, There Will Be Plenty More Drama
The cast of Teen Mom 2 has been growing up along with their kids for seven seasons now, with most of them almost completely unrecognizable from when the series first started. Over the past decade, these women have let viewers into their lives as they've embarked on different chapters of their lives and the journey will continue, because according to Radar Online, Teen Mom 2 will return for another season. Though a premiere date for Season 8 has not been announced, it is likely to return to MTV either in the late fall of 2016 or early 2017, based on the usually lengthy hiatuses between seasons. When that day does come, Teen Mom 2 will once again update audiences on what exactly is going on in the lives of Jenelle, Leah, Kailyn, and Chelsea.
But, with most of the Moms on social media, you can get a glimpse of what's going on in their lives right now, which will probably end up on camera. According to Radar, all four cast members are filming now, without much of a break between Season 7 and the upcoming Season 8. As with every season of Teen Mom 2, it looks like there's going to be a lot of drama between the cast members and their significant others ahead. But their families and careers will provide happier, more exciting milestones. Here's what each of the ladies has been up to since Season 7 came to an end.
Right now, Chelsea is in the midst of trying to distance herself from her ex and the father of her daughter, Adam Lind, who recently went on a social media rant about how much about paying Chelsea child support because of her Teen Mom salary. Her father, Doctor Randy Houska, joined the fray on Twitter. But while there's always drama between Chelsea and Adam, Chelsea and her fiance, Cole DeBoer, are still happily together.
Leah is still caring for her daughters, twins Aliannah and Aleeah from her relationship with Corey Simms and Adalynn, from her second marriage to Jeremy Calvert. Since Season 7, Leah still hasn't gotten back together with Jeremy and his relationship with a new girlfriend seems to be getting more serious.
Kailyn's relationship with husband Javi seemed unbreakable, but sadly, since the end of Season 7, the couple officially split. Kailyn told The Daily Mail that one of the sources for the tension between the couple was the miscarriage she went through last year, paired with Javi's deployment overseas. And in the Teen Mom 2 finale, viewers say Kailyn and Javi butt heads over the fact that she doesn't want more children when he does. It looks like Kailyn has been spending more time with family and friends now that she's single after two years of marriage.
Jenelle is still in the middle of fighting for the custody of her two sons, which should continue through Season 8. She's also been complaining on social media about her portrayal on the series, while a producer took to Twitter to defend what is shown on Teen Mom 2.
With so much happening in their lives, whenever Teen Mom 2 returns, it's guaranteed to bring even more drama.
