Big congrats are in order for actor Eddie Redmayne and his wife, Hannah Bagshawe! On Sunday, June 19, it was reported by The Daily Mail that Bagshawe and Fantastic Beasts actor Redmayne had their first child, a daughter, on Wednesday. As for the newborn's name? According to the Daily Mail, it's Iris May — how adorable is that? The site reported that the famous couple's spokeswoman confirmed the news of the child's birth, telling MailOnline, 'I can confirm that Eddie and Hannah Redmayne have welcomed their first child.'"

It was first revealed in December that Bagshawe, a publicist, was pregnant, with a source at the time telling The Sun that "Eddie and Hannah are delighted and extremely excited. They don’t want to find out the sex of the baby but are happy to tell close friends and family they’re expecting." In February, Redmayne confirmed to Extra that he and his wife were not planning on finding out the sex until the birth, saying, "It’s gonna be a surprise. I was like, 'Maybe we should find out,' [and] my wife’s like, 'We’re not finding out.' She wears the trousers."

Neither Redmayne nor Bagshawe, who were married in December 2014, has commented publicly on the birth of their child just yet, but I'm sure the couple is absolutely over the moon about the news. Congrats to the new parents, and here's hoping Redmayne is enjoying his very first Father's Day.
