The Latest Rob Drama On 'KUWTK' Is Intense

by Nicole Pomarico

So far, this season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians is giving me everything I wanted to see this year: Rob Kardashian, more North West, and... that's it. OK, it's a short list. But I've been thrilled to see that the sole Kardashian son has finally made his return to filming for the E! cameras. Next step? Actually getting along with his sisters — and it's going to be hard for him to come back from this one. On Sunday night's new episode of the show, Rob proposes to Blac Chyna without telling his sisters, and understandably, they were pissed.

In the ep, the entire family was on a surprise trip to Vail that Kris had set up so they could finally return to the place that meant so much to them during their yearly Thanksgiving trip, something that had been a tradition while their dad, Robert Kardashian, was still alive. But Rob decided to skip out on it, and even though everybody was bummed, it seemed like they were all pretty OK with it when he FaceTimed them during dinner the night they arrived. Sounds good, right? Wrong? Because one morning in Vail, the family wakes up to find photos of Rob and Blac Chyna post-engagement all over Instagram and he hadn't told them they were engaged... or that he was even planning to propose.

At first, Kourtney, Khloe, and Kim are all in shock. They've been receiving text messages from people asking if the news is true, and they don't exactly have answers. They aren't sure what to do next — or how to break the news to their mom — and I definitely don't envy them in their situation. Rob's obviously an adult, but to make such a life changing decision without giving his family a heads up can be pretty hurtful.

And the biggest bummer? Khloe seems to be the most heartbroken over the news, since she and Rob have always been close. Meanwhile, Kourtney thinks they should leave it alone since Rob is the happiest he's ever been, and Kim insists she couldn't care less (even though it seems like she totally could). Um, yeah. It's a mess.

The episode leaves us on a cliffhanger (of course), so we won't get to see how everybody handles the news once they've digested it until next Sunday. But I have a feeling it's not going to be pretty — and it's definitely not going to help Rob's sisters warm up to Blac Chyna any faster. Yikes!
