Will Sansa & Littlefinger Be A Thing On 'GotT?

by Alaina Urquhart-White

On Sunday night's episode of Game of Thrones Littlefinger actually came to the rescue and did something right. Yes, I was as shocked as you were, but it's real. Just when it looked like Jon was going to die and the Stark army was going to be completely and utterly demolished at the hands of Ramsay's men, Littlefinger rode in with the Knights of the Vale to save the day and defeat Ramsay's army for good. Now that he is back, he and Sansa will have to finally speak again and that weird chemistry between them may return. But, does Sansa actually have feelings for Littlefinger?

Well, if this was a couple of seasons ago, I would probably say yes. When they were in The Vale, I think there was some shenanigans brewing between this unlikely pair. They shared a kiss and she lied for him about how her aunt Lysa ended up "falling" through her moon door. Now that he gave her over to marry Ramsay and basically ruined her life, I don't know if she will be able to trust or forgive him completely. Sure, at her request, he rode in with his men to save the day this time and that's awesome, but he tends to make grand entrances before he back-stabs again for more power.

In the previews for the season finale, Sansa and Littlefinger meet under a Weirwood tree and things looks like they get pretty serious. She angrily asks him what he wants and he replies with an ominous, "I thought you knew what I want." So, we know where Littlefinger stands in this whole thing. Sansa didn't exactly look thrilled, but who knows? Maybe his actions on the battlefield made her have a change of heart.

I can't make a decision on this one. I don't know if I want these two to get together. A large part of me thinks it would be disaster but another tiny part of me thinks that Littlefinger truly does care for Sansa and wants to make things right. I don't know. Nothing is pure and good in this show. I guess we'll have to watch and find out what happens.
