9 A-List Approved Headbands Inspired By Red Carpet Looks

Everything about Sunday night was magical for Luptia Nyong'o. Not only did she deliver a beautiful acceptance speech and get to shimmy with Pharrell (and Pharrell's hat), but she also looked like a fairytale princess in custom Prada. The pleated, pastel gown was perfection on its own, but the gold and diamond tiara-esque headband by Fred Leighton made us swoon. It was simple, yet dazzling and proved that not all headbands will make you look like Blair Waldorf.

But Nyong'o wasn't the first celeb to wear a headband on a red carpet — and we have a feeling she won't be the last. Here, 9 headpieces from red carpets past and where you can shop similar styles.
