Anna Kendrick's Book Cover Is Perfect

A new Instagram post from the actress just revealed that Anna Kendrick's book cover is absolutely pitch perfect. For a Scrappy Little Nobody, that is. There's about to be a whole lot more of Kendrick to go around, so get ready.

Kendrick first announced her book of essays in April 2015. At the time, the book did not have a title. Now, we actually know what Scrappy Little Nobody will look like on store shelves — assuming we're, you know, not stalking out the midnight release at Barnes and Noble.

With Scrappy Little Nobody , Anna Kendrick is all set to join the world of funny ladies with books. She's in prestigious company, with the likes of Roxane Gay, Amy Poehler, and Ellie Kemper. Much like Kemper's recently announced memoir, Scrappy Little Nobody will recount Kendrick's middle class childhood and her rise to fame.

Regarding the upcoming release of her book, Kendrick says:

I’m excited to publish my first book, and because I get uncomfortable when people have high expectations, I'd like to use this opportunity to showcase my ineptitude, pettiness, and the frequency with which I embarrass myself. And while many of my female inspirations who have become authors are incredibly well-educated and accomplished comedy writers, I'm very, very funny on Twitter, according to Buzzfeed and my mom, so I feel like this is a great idea.

Scrappy Little Nobody is available for pre-order now from your favorite retailer. Pick up Anna Kendrick's book in stores this November.
