Australia may be referred to as the land down under, but it's clear from The Real Housewives of Melbourne Season 3 cast that these glamorous ladies are living life on top of the world. Because not only are they dishing out delicious servings of gossip and drama on weekly basis, but they're also living out a lavish lifestyle that many would kill for, which is not only thanks to the show's success, but also due to their individual businesses that have proven to be quite lucrative — sometimes in very surprising ways. Just take Real Housewives of Melbourne star Jackie Gillies, for example. According to CelebrityNetworth, it estimates that Jackie Gillies' net worth is approximately $2 million, which is definitely an impressive accomplishment.
But keep in mind that this number (which is much, much higher than mine, might I add) is not only from her role as an iconic reality TV personality. Jackie is also well known for her work as a psychic medium, which certainly factors into her financial status. In fact, if you go to her website for a booking, you'll see that a 30-minute session with her is $495 (AUD), which converts to around $370 (U.S.). Now it's hard to judge how many bookings she manages to accumulate throughout the fiscal year, but at that price and with her celebrity persona, I'm betting she does fairly well for herself.
Granted, her net worth may not be as high as some of her other fellow Housewives cohorts like Janet Roach and Pettifleur Berenger, whose net worth of millions have both reached into the double digit numbers. But it's important to note that Jackie is the youngest member of the group, so in many ways she's only just getting started.
As a matter of fact, her psychic abilities are in high demand throughout Australia with her client list ranging from the general public to high-profile celebrities who are either looking for personal guidance or hope to connect with loved ones who have tragically passed away. Admirably, she also donates a portion of her reading fees to The Starlight Foundation, White Ribbon, and Mission Australia.
However, this and television aren't the only fields Jackie has gone on to dip her toes into. Apart from being a philanthropist and humanitarian, this Real Housewives of Melbourne star also went on to launch a ready-to-serve (and highly delicious) cocktail line called La Mascara back in 2013.
Suffice to say, this lady is doing very well for herself in the financial department and has a lot to be proud of. Her accomplishments are admirable, though, there is one very important thing that you just can't put a price — and that's drama, which is something that I'm confident Season 3 won't have in short supply. So sit back, relax with a bottle (or two) of La Mascara, and let the jaw-dropping craziness begin!
