How To Trump Yourself Using The App & See What The Donald Would Say About You

She did it again. Hillary Clinton's campaign just came out with an anti-Trump Facebook app, and there couldn't be a better way to show distaste for The Donald on social media. The Clinton campaign's Trump Yourself app lets Facebook and Twitter users superimpose real (and utterly appalling) Donald Trump quotes over profiles pictures — the newly "Trumped" pictures can then be uploaded to either of the two social media sites. The app allows users to choose a Trump quote that applies to them — there are quotes for Muslims, women, undocumented immigrants, the LGBTQ community, Mexicans, and even for people who just happen to like Diet Coke. (As a bonus, some of the Trump Yourself filters even include tiny images of Donald Trump's rather orange face.) The app certainly proves that Trump has insulted just about everyone at one point or another.

The Clinton campaign released its new app on Thursday morning, and #TrumpYourself immediately began trending on Twitter. Thursday marks the last day of the Republican National Convention, and considering that Trump is now officially the GOP's presidential nominee, the Clinton campaign probably knew that anti-Trump feelings would be rampant among liberal voters, especially on social media — Trump Yourself helps users share their distaste for Trump while showing support for Clinton.

How can you do it? Just go to the Trump Yourself website, which gets personal from the start, and asks, "What has Donald Trump said about people like you?" and then allows users to "Find out now" — there are 15 different filters to choose from. Next to each filter, the app gives context to each quote, explaining when Trump said it, and who he was talking about. For example, the filter for undocumented immigrants superimposes the quote, "They have to go," over users' profile pictures, and explains that in August 2015, Trump told Meet The Press: "We’re going to keep the families together, but they have to go. ... They have to go. We will work with them. They have to go. Chuck, we either have a country, or we don’t have a country."

The filter for African-Americans shows a small image of Trump saying, "Look at my African-American over here." Yes, he said that. Well, to be exact, Trump Yourself shares that at a campaign rally on June 3, 2016 Trump stated, "Oh, look at my African-American over here. Look at him. Are you the greatest?"

Considering Trump's constant sexism, Trump Yourself gives women three different filter options. One filter reads, "Women are always 'griping and bitching,'" something Trump actually wrote in his book, The Art of the Comeback. Another filter for women reads, "Fat pig!" which is what Trump once called Rosie O'Donnell. But wait, there's another winner for women, a Trump quote from 2004: "If you need Viagra, you’re probably with the wrong girl."

It's not hard for Trump Yourself users to find a personally insulting Trump quote, which proves not only the success of the Clinton campaign's new app, but also the extent of Donald Trump's insults — Trump Yourself makes users wonder, "Who hasn't Trump insulted by now?" Honestly, no one but himself — there's even a Trump Yourself filter for dogs.
