This Is How Much Kylie's New Metal Matte Costs
It is all too easy for big brands to release a new product and throw on an extra $10 for the "special edition" label. Thankfully, Kylie Cosmetics hasn't done that, and the price of her new products is relatively reasonable. So, how much is the new Kylie Cosmetics Birthday Edition Metal Matte compared to the other metal matte products? One dollar more. Seriously, that's it.
The shade, named Lord — I'm assuming after Kourtney Kardashian's ex and family friend Scott Disick, who refers to himself as "Lord Disick" on the regular — is a brilliant gold color. It's actually infused with actual gold, as revealed on Kylie Jenner's Snapchat page. And the same is true for the entire Birthday Edition Kylie Cosmetics launch. Totally worth that extra dollar, if you ask me.
If you've been paying attention to the Kylie Cosmetics brand, you will likely know that the Metallic Matte Liquid Lipsticks will usually set you back $18. So it follows the new Lord shade of Kylie Jenner's Metallic Matte lippie comes in at $19, according to the Kylie Cosmetics Instagram page. As I'm sure many King Kylie fans are planning to do, you can even purchase the entire new Birthday Edition line, including the brand new Kylie Jenner makeup bag, for $195.
Although we're not all made of money — myself especially — the deal is actually a pretty sweet one, when you add up the individual cost of all the items and imagine buying them separately. But if you don't have a casual $200 to blow, I understand only investing in one of these new items. And if I were you? I'd go for the gold Metal Matte Lipstick. Oh, and the gold gloss in "Poppin," because I'm sure the pair will look absolutely stunning together.
And as proven by dozens of beauty bloggers, the liquid lipsticks don't have to be only used as lipsticks. Meaning if you invest your $19 on this product, you can get way more wear out of it than some of the other items in the line. I'm sure you could use this product as a gold Metallic Matte Liquid Eyeliner, too.
