Gisele Bundchen Slays At Rio's Opening Ceremony

by Sienna Fantozzi

The 2016 Rio Olympics have finally arrived, and they kicked off with an Opening Ceremony on Friday, August 5th. There's obviously a lot of hype around all the upcoming events, but before the games actually begin, let's spend a little bit of time talking about the fashion. Because did you see what Gisele Bundchen wore at the 2016 Rio opening ceremony? I mean, when does she ever not look flawless?

The opening ceremony is always an extremely exciting, celebratory, and emotional event, and there's always something incredibly memorable or groundbreaking that occurs. But like, also — the fashion. It's the time when we get to see all the teams uniforms for the first time, and the celebrities in attendance definitely make some style statements, as well, and Gisele, who attended the ceremony in her home country of Brazil, definitely didn't let us down in that regard.

The model walked the longest runway she's ever strutted wearing a seriously eye-catching gown. The floor-length dress was long-sleeved and featured a major (emphasis on the major part) thigh-high slit. But that's not all — it was also totally sparkly, so believe me when I say, this was not a dress you'd miss when it came down the runway.
