We’re constantly fascinated by what our zodiac sign says about our lives, whether it's which signs are most compatible, the best sex positions for each sign, or how each sign handles conflict in relationships. That's why Bustle has enlisted Mecca Woods, a New York City-based Astrologer of MyLifeCreated.com to tell us all about how astrology is affecting our lives each week. This week's topic: your weekly horoscope for the week of August 8-14.
The energy of this week may feel a bit off-kilter with Venus (relationships, wealth) in Virgo going toe-to-toe with Saturn (responsibility, reality) in Sagittarius and Neptune (illusion, dreams) in Pisces; putting us in a conflict with what we want, what we think we want, and what we actually have. Though with Saturn no longer retrograde and moving forward again, the biggest piece to the puzzle will be the ability to take the reality of any situation and using this information to determine if we should move forward or cut our losses. Either way, with Saturn at the helm, the end result is that we’ll come out on the other end of this experience all the more wiser and capable. Just make sure not to make snap decisions. Get all your facts straight first.
Read below to find out what this week's stars means for your sign.

Aries (March 21 - April 19)
You may be excited to get the show on the road only to find yourself caught up in the details. Take care of what you can and let the rest work itself out. Now’s not the time to try to force anything to happen.
Taurus (April 20 - May 20)
This week you may find that you’re not as passionate or gung ho about something as you thought you were but that may be because you’re losing focus on what really matters. Take a step back and regroup.
Gemini (May 21 - June 20)
The dreams or aspirations that you’ve had for your career could be a reality if you’re willing to 1) dig in a little harder to get there, and 2) recognize that you have more resources available to you than you think.
Cancer (June 21 - July 22)
The key to avoiding a system overload this week will be based on your ability to prioritize and stay organized. If you can get assistance from a friend, sibling, or co-worker don’t be afraid to ask for (or accept) their help.
Leo (July 23 - August 22)
This week you’re called to examine ways you may be selling your gifts, talents, or yourself short. Don’t be afraid to walk away if the money or compensation for what you’re offering isn’t right. Believe in your worth.
Virgo (August 23 - September 22)
Setting (and maintaining) healthy boundaries will be a theme for you this week as those closest to you may test their limits with you. Don’t feel guilty about putting your needs first this time around.
Libra (September 23 - October 22)
You may find that there’s a bit of a disconnect between what’s going on in your head and what’s actually happening. However, consider the impending reality check to be just what you need to move in the right direction.
Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)
At first glance it may seem like what you’ve been wishing for may never materialize when in actuality, you’re just being asked to take a fresh approach towards getting what you want. It will happen, Scorpio.
Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)
If an opportunity doesn’t pan out to what you had hoped it would, recognize that it’s because something better is on the way. You’ve been working too hard lately to settle for just anything.
Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)
You know just about more than anyone how to commit to a dream but consider that what you thought you wanted may no longer be the right fit. The message remains: time for something different.
Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)
Nowadays you don’t have much time, energy, or resources to waste. This means you will need to become more careful about who (or what) you give your time and energy to; allow others to prove themselves worthy.
Pisces (February 19 - March 20)
Consider this week to be a strong reminder that no matter who or what you choose to marry yourself to, you don’t have to settle. Your well-being must come first before anything.
