Watch Strangers Give Each Other... Handjobs?

by Nathalie O'Neill

I'll be honest with you: when I first saw Tatia Pilieva's "First Kiss" video popping up everywhere, I refused to watch it — I just knew it would bug me with its awkward sappiness. And, sure enough, when I finally did watch it, all those kissing sounds just weirded me out. So when a handjob parody of the "First Kiss" video came along, I had a feeling all my bitterness would be vindicated.

If you haven't watched the original, the concept is pretty simple. Pilieva, teaming up with Wren Studio, asked 20 "strangers" to kiss for the first time and captured the resulting smooches, which ranged from painfully awkward (someone didn't learn to keep the tongue to a minimum) to surprisingly sexy (hello, fierce lady in the stripes, grinding up on your partner). Everything is in minimalist black and white, and everyone is hella attractive and suspiciously poised — but I guess that's what we should expect from what is, after all, a clothing ad starring actors.

Now, sketch group Pimms Girls has just come out with its more NSFW parody, where 20 strangers meet and the men receive a handjob — unfortunately, it seems like the women miss out on all the fun in this scenario. Regardless, if you cringed at "First Kiss" like me, or if you want to laugh off the sad news of the original being a commercial, check out the video below. A MUCH more realistic portrayal of first-time encounters, if you ask me.
