Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna's romance has drawn a lot of criticism, particularly as the pair's upcoming reality show will screen on E!, the home of all things Kardashian. Some skeptics still don't believe that their love is for real, and instead think that they're in it for the publicity. But on Wednesday, Rob Kardashian sent a strong message about his love life in a brand new interview with People, all about Chyna and their life together. Rob Kardashian's interview about Blac Chyna proves all their doubters wrong, hopefully once and for all.

This interview comes ahead of the premiere of Rob and Chyna on Sept. 11 on E!. I'm all kinds of excited for the series, especially as Kardashian has been out of the spotlight for the last few years. However, it finally sounds as though the Kardashian brother is in a good place in his life, and that's in large part thanks to Chyna. As Kardashian told People, "She got me through my darkest times. I wasn't happy in my own skin. I missed out on so many things." The connection between Chyna and Kardashian is very much real; their relationship sounds solid, and not just for publicity.

It's so awesome to hear Kardashian talk about his relationship with Chyna, especially as it's such a positive part of his life. The couple, who are engaged and expecting a baby together, will share their lives with the world when Rob & Chyna airs, and it seems like Kardashian is OK with that. He told People, "I've been friends with Chyna for a long time. She was someone I reached out to for advice. She would cook for me and we'd just talk." Clearly, the engaged couple's relationship is firmly grounded in friendship, and it's so heartening to hear that he felt as though Chyna was someone he could confide in.

The Arthur George creator has been through some incredibly difficult events in the past few years, including being diagnosed with diabetes. That he's found a true friend and life partner in Chyna is amazing to hear, and proves that the pair are together because of a genuine chemistry. Kardashian continued, "She's surrounded me with a lot of positivity. From the moment we met, I knew I wanted to be more than friends." It definitely sounds as though this relationship is for real.

I'm happy to see Kardashian in such a positive place, and to have found a partner who supports and understands him. There's no doubt as far as I'm concerned that these two are for real.
