A&E's JonBenét Ramsey Doc Should Be Online Soon

by Alaina Urquhart-White

It's hard to believe that we are coming up on the 20th anniversary of the death of 6 year-old beauty queen JonBenét Ramsey. Her Dec. 26, 1996 murder has never been solved, and the case has continued to fascinate the nation for two decade. With the major anniversary of this horrific crime approaching, there are actually a few different documentaries coming to TV about the tragic case. The first of these releases is The Killing Of JonBenét: The Truth Uncovered on A&E, which premieres on Monday, Sept. 5. Since this is promising to be a very revealing documentary with exclusive interviews and first-hand accounts, you really don't want to miss it. If you won't be able to catch the special live, you may be hoping to find A&E's The Killing of JonBenet on Hulu or stream it elsewhere, and while no streaming services have been confirmed yet, it's very likely that you'll be able to watch the doc online soon.

Hulu has not announced whether the special will be available to stream, however, the two-hour documentary doesn't premiere until 9 p.m. ET on Labor Day, so that news could still be coming, and there are a few other places you may be able to find it. There are a few streaming services and platforms that tend to feature A&E content, so if you miss The Killing of JonBenét: The Truth Uncovered live, here are a few places you should check for it in the coming days.

Hulu May Have It Eventually

Don't count Hulu out just yet. Although the doc is not listed on the site right now, it may be added later. Hulu does have a few A&E shows that it is currently streaming, so it is safe to say that you should check back there after the initial release date.

Head Over To The A&E Website

You can stream all of A&E's content on the network's official site if you login with a cable subscription. This is very convenient for anyone who has cable, but won't be by a television when the documentary premieres on Monday night.

Download The A&E App

The A&E app is a little different than choosing to stream via the website. If you use the app, you don't need a cable subscription but if you don't login with one, you won't have access to the full catalog of shows they offer. It is unclear whether this free selection will include the The Killing of JonBenét: The Truth Uncovered documentary, but it's a good avenue to check out once it premieres.

Check Out The iTunes Store

iTunes carries an extensive list of A&E shows for download/purchase. Almost all of the network's most popular shows are included for purchase and viewing.

Download On Amazon

Amazon has a lot of A&E content/shows available for purchase or download currently as well. There is reason to believe that you could eventually download/purchase The Killing of JonBenét: The Truth Uncovered on Amazon.

Even though nothing outside of A&E is confirmed at the moment, don't lose hope if you don't have cable and want to watch the documentary. There are plenty of places where A&E is available to watch outside of the confines of a cable subscription. Just keep checking out the above streaming avenues and you should be able to catch The Killing of JonBenét: The Truth Uncovered.
