One Of the Best "Let It Go" Covers Yet

by Alanna Bennett

Adele Dazeem and the husband-wife team of Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez are probably sitting pretty smug in their homes these days: Frozen and its breakout hit "Let It Go" are showing absolutely no signs of slowing down when it comes to covers (the highest form of musical flattery aside from Grammys and that Oscar they've already got) and general pop cultural presence. (Probably) noncoincidentally, the latest great "Let It Go" cover presents itself in a way that encapsulates that very Disney history that Frozen's already added its considerable presence to.

The video, by Brian Hull and posted on Youtube, features Hull singing "Let It Go" while doing impressions of a whole hell of a lot of beloved characters of Disney's past. My personal favorites? Well, there's Lumiere from Beauty and the Beast, Pumbaa from The Lion King, Scuttle from The Little Mermaid. Oh, and Winnie the Pooh is pretty great, as is his impression of Disney's flagship Mickey Mouse.

In fact, most of it is pretty great, and this guy's pretty damn talented. You can bet this one's already making the rounds in some Disney employee email chains. You go, Brian Hull; four for you, Brian Hull.
