Ariana Grande Confirms Mac Miller Relationship

by Michelle McGahan

Well, guys, Ariana Grande just confirmed something on Ellen that everyone already knows: Grande is dating Mac Miller, she revealed to the talk show host on Wednesday after DeGeneres playfully forced it out of her.

Squirming around uncomfortably and hiding her face, Grande was clearly a little embarrassed to be talking about her relationship on national television — despite the fact that she already pretty much confirmed it on the 2016 VMAs white carpet, already made their relationship ~Instagram official~, and the rapper himself took a moment to gush about his lady to People (more on all of that below).

"This so crazy. I've never, like, had the relationship talk on a show before," Grande told the host, who was clearly reveling in the "Dangerous Woman" singer's adorable awkwardness.

"You're with him, right? And you're happy and stuff?" DeGeneres prompted, which at least gave Grande the opportunity to confirm with just one word.

"Yeah," she replied, breaking out into a big grin.

Truth be told, the sentiment is sweet — Grande is clearly happy, and now we have ~officially official confirmation~ that the two are an item — but the singer's actions have preeeetty much said all of this before. Let's take a look.

For one, the 2016 VMAs were the place that Grande and Miller first went public with their relationship. On the red (well, white) carpet, Grande was asked why she was by herself and where the rapper was.

"Being supportive," she responded. "It's OK to be alone even when you have a boo." The two then spent the rest of the award show — after Grande performed her sexy hit "Side to Side" with Nicki Minaj, of course — being absolutely adorable and couple-y in their seats:

Then, of course, came the moment just last week when Grande made things Instagram official, posting a sweet (yet surprisingly sexual) photo with her guy on the 'gram. In the pic, the singer has her legs wrapped around his body as they cuddle on the floor. The caption of the photo? "baabyyy." It doesn't get any more telling than that, folks:

Ohhh, but it does. On Monday, just two days before Grande's appearance on Ellen, Miller spoke to People about his relationship with the singer — both personal and professional. The two recently collaborated on the rapper's song "My Favorite Part," which marks their second duet together (the two had previously collabed on Grande's hit, "The Way.")

"I wrote that love song before I saw her. We're very good friends first and foremost," the rapper explained. "We made that song and started becoming close again. It's very dope and I like how that worked out."

"It was great. There was no awkwardness or weirdness, it was how it always was. Just both of us older, more mature and more sure of ourselves," Miller said. "When we first recorded together we were young and figuring it out, which we still are, but now seeing her growth and my growth – it's great."

"We hung out for a long time and everything just happened organically," he continued. "We love making music together – we do that always. But she's my best friend in the world." Aw!

Now that we have the official confirmation, it seems like we'll be getting even more Grande/Miller public declarations of love, Instagram photos, and music together. I ship it.
