Who Is Sarah Hyland Dating?

If there's one comedy that likely loves the Emmys, it's ABC's family sitcom Modern Family. The series has scored the Outstanding Comedy Emmy from 2010 to 2014, and has scooped awards in several other subcategories since its premiere in 2009. Modern Family is an Emmys darling, and Sarah Hyland is a darling of Modern Family: the 25-year-old actor portrays eldest Dunphy sister Haley on the sitcom, and does so hilariously. Though Hyland didn't get an Emmy nod, she'll likely be with the cast and crew at the 2016 Emmys on Sept. 18 in order to celebrate the show's multiple nominations — but who might her potential date be? We have to look at who Hyland is dating to find out who might accompany this actor.

Since Hyland's relationship with Matt Prokop ended on a frightening note in 2014, when Hyland allegedly received a three year-long restraining order from her Geek Charming actor ex. Fortunately, Hyland's new relationship seems much happier than her last. In February of 2015, Hyland was spotted looking cozy with her Vampire Academy co-star Dominic Sherwood while out in Hollywood, and Us Weekly reported that Hyland and Sherwood were officially dating. It seems like Hyland's friend Taylor Swift approves of the union, because she cast Sherwood in her "Style" music video in 2015. The actor now appears on Freeform's series Shadowhunters as Jace, and on the red carpet next to his main squeeze:

According to the Daily Mail, Sherwood is a very good boyfriend. The pair was spotted moving boxes in June of 2016, with Sherwood doing a lot of the heavy lifting. Clearly, these two appreciate spending time together: Sherwood appeared on the Season 7 Modern Family episode "Crazy Train," and seemingly gets along with Hyland's co-stars, as indicated by this Instagram pic of Hyland, Sherwood, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson:

Most importantly, however, Sherwood loves dogs... and Jurassic Park tees. Seriously adorable:

Aww — you have to appreciate Hyland and Sherwood's young love. The former co-stars and current TV actors make up one seriously cute couple — and, quite possibly, a couple that will be making their way together on the Emmys red carpet.
