'Parks and Recreation' is Officially Renewed for Season 7! Let's Have a GIF Party!

Just one day after we had a hilarious time at the Parks and Recreation Paleyfest panel, NBC has announced — officially! — that the beloved comedy series about the little government office that could, Parks & Rec is renewed for a seventh season! Which is cramazing (that means crazy + amazing, combined). We're so excited we can hardly stand it. We're positively buzzing! Thank goodness Amy Poehler, Nick Offerman, Chris Pratt, Aubrey Plaza, Retta, Aziz Ansari, and Jim O'Heir will be returning to our Thursday night television line-up. Praise Xenu that perfect guest stars like Jean Ralphio (Ben Schwartz), Crazy Craig (Billy Eichner), and Perd Hapley (Jay Jackson) will continue to live on. Pawnee, Indiana, I could kiss you on the mouth right now!

Now, this is not much of a surprise, considering NBC chairman Robert Greenblatt previously announced at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour that, "Parks and Rec is going to have a seventh season," but it was never official. UNTIL NOW! Which means we're officially free to twist, shout, and let it alllll out. "It" being the overabundance of energy and excitement we have over the future of our favorite series currently on television. Chant it with me now, folks: Parks and Rec! Parks and Rec! Parks and Rec!

I don't know about you all, but I dare say this calls for a celebration. A GIFebration, if you will. Because what better way is there to express all of your feelings on the Internet than with the gift that keeps on GIFfing, those Harry Potter-esque moving images? LITERALLY NOTHING ELSE, THAT'S WHAT.

EVERYBODY DANCE NOW!

Yeah!

Oh yeah!

Hell yeah!

Fuck yes!

EVERYBODY KEEP DANCING!

Feel that joy!

Let it seep through your pores!

THIS IS THE BEST DAY EVER!
