See George & Charlotte's Adorable Waves Goodbye

After a quick stay that involved encounters with bunnies, dogs, and much more, Prince William and Duchess Catherine have left Canada with their adorable tots Prince George and Princess Charlotte. The royal family went on an eight-day tour of the country, where they met Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, helped open a new hospital, had a royal play date, and enjoyed all things Canadian. Now, though, it's time for them to return to England, and videos and photos of Prince George and Princess Charlotte waving goodbye to Canada are too cute to be missed. The 3-year-old prince and the 1-year-old princess seem to be pros at being globetrotting royalty already.

According to Us Weekly, the royal family departed Canada on Oct. 1 from Victoria, the capital city of province British, and boarded a sea plane by the harbor. The Telegraph reported that the family's tour of the Great White North was the UK royal family's first overseas trip together. "We feel very lucky to have been able to introduce George and Charlotte to Canada," Prince William said, according to the publication. "This country will play a big part in the lives of our children and we have created such happy memories for our family during this visit."

So who knows — Prince George and Princess Charlotte may return to the land of hockey, poutine, and mounties in the future. But for now, let's appreciate just how royally cute these little ones are right now.

That Two-Hand Wave

It's either Prince George's royal two-fer wave or his "no pics for the paparazzi" pose. Or he just wants to do some pushups.

As a British royal, you need to be able to multitask.

Even at 16 months old, she knows exactly how to work that wave.

Saying Goodbye To Important People

Governor General David Johnston waved goodbye to Prince George and Princess Charlotte. But did they oblige? Yup, as later on, George gave him a farewell handshake.

Prince George knows exactly what those photographers want — to see him wave.

A Nice, Firm Goodbye Handshake

And that's Prince George giving a very official "see you later" handshake to the governor general of Canada. You know, no big deal.

That "Press Your Face Against The Plane Window" Farewell

Prince George gives Canada a truly toddler goodbye, pressing his face up against the plane window. Perhaps he then asked his mother and father, "Are we home yet?" and maybe even wondered, "When will the flight attendant bring over the juice boxes and snacks?" Because whether or not you're royalty, air travel takes a lot of patience.

The royal family was adorable during their trip to Canada — and now I can't wait to see where Prince George and Princess Charlotte take their cuteness next.
