Lindsay Lohan Got In A Gruesome Accident

Thought your weekend was bad? It probably doesn't compare to Lindsay Lohan's, which consisted of the actor nearly losing half her finger in a boating accident. On Sunday, Oct. 2, the star documented the frightening incident in photos and videos, sharing the details of how an accident over the weekend caused her to go to the hospital for a gruesome injury. "I almost lost my finger from the anchor," Lohan explained in a Snapchat. "Well, I lost half my finger, thank goodness we found the piece of my finger... i just had surgery to fix it ... it hurts so bad." Yikes.

The incident sounds truly scary, and Lohan is certainly lucky that her injury didn't turn out to be worse than it was. Though the accident was undoubtedly very painful (and bloody, judging by those nasty photos), the actor seems to be healing beautifully. In a video, she showed off her damaged hand and sounded like she was in great spirits despite her injury, saying, "This is the result of me trying to help anchor the boat by myself. My poor finger!" I know that after reading about Lohan's wound you might be just a tad grossed out, but you should feel better knowing that your favorite Mean Girl is dong just fine following her incident.

Still, it's awful that Lohan had the accident, and that she's probably experiencing a good amount of pain while her injury heals. At least it seems like she learned from her boating disaster, and will get some help the next time she decides to anchor a boat. Here's to a speedy (and boat-free) recovery for Lohan.
