Here's Where To Get Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Whip

There's an important cause for celebration this week that you're not going to want to miss: it's the Pumpkin Spice Latte's 13th birthday and you better believe that Starbucks is doing something special. Today through Oct. 9, you're going to want to put your party hat on, and head out of the house where you can Pumpkin Spice Whip at Starbucks. I mean, wear other clothes, too, just don't forget the party hat. Yes, that's right, in participating stores in the U.S. and Canada, they've decided that the best way to celebrate the newfound teen-hood of everyone's favorite seasonal beverage is to create a special whipped cream in its honor. So #dontskipthewhip and get nuts, PSL only turns 13 once.

You'll get the free dollop of PSL whip on any Pumpkin Spice drink — hot, cold or blended, whatever calls to you on these early fall days where the temperature can't make up its mind. You know, when you wear an adorable and heavy fall sweater to work with knit tights and by the time you go outside for your lunch break, you've got pit stains and you're disoriented with heat exhaustion? Yeah, well, in the spirit of celebration, you can ask to have the special birthday blend whip added to any drink of your liking. Coffee and PSL whip? Yup. Tea and PSL whip? OK. Orange Mocha Frappuccino and PSL whip? No, sorry, that's unfortunately still not a thing. Anything *on the menu* is available for a PSL top-off. The whip, like the drink, is made with real pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger and clove. So expect it to be as zesty and autumn-y as the latte, but much creamier and birthday-ier. It's really as close to a birthday cake as you one can have their morning coffee.

Not to be bitter, but on my 13th birthday, no one made birthday pins or a special whipped cream that was just for me. But I'm not trying to live in the shadow of America's favorite drink and I'm in a good place right now so I can just be happy for the Pumpkin Spice Latte and wish it a great birthday and a enriching teen-hood.
