Why Ashton Kutcher Was Hoping For A Baby Girl
Ashton Kutcher might just be the cutest expectant dad on Earth, and I'm not just saying that because I've had a fierce crush on the dude since I was 12 years old. No, I'm making that declaration because Kutcher said he was hoping for another baby girl on Late Night With Seth Meyers, and the reason why has to do with the most adorable baby mathematics. And, for me, that's saying a lot, because I hated math. It was my absolute worst subject. What kind of baby mathematics you ask? Well, he told Meyers he hoped his second child was a girl, because he figured it'd get him at least one more child after that, on the account of Mila Kunis ultimately letting them to try for a son, as well.
Kutcher explained that he wants as many kids as possible. It was never about having a boy or a girl, just about strategizing how to have a football team full of children, without having to negotiate with a probably unwilling Kunis about it. Because, you know, she is the one who has to do all the work in the childbearing situation, after all. While Kutcher is being especially cute, I'm rooting for you here, Mila. No matter how appealing and adorable Kutcher just made math seem while incorporating his love of infants into the mix.
Kutcher revealed to Meyers that they were actually having a boy, but said,
"I was actually hoping for a girl, Because first of all, our first girl is unbelievable. But also I figured if we had a girl second, she might give me one more shot at having a boy and now I don’t know! It’s even money, she might cut me off! I want, like, 12 of them... We haven't discussed it yet, we're not into it, and so this isn't a tabloid argument, at all... in the least bit. We're very excited and very happy."
He might be excited and happy, but clearly, he was also instantly terrified about the rumor mill he undoubtedly just started about he and Kunis having their third kid before their second is even born. I have a sneaking suspicion the Bad Moms actor may let her significant other's PR missteps slide considering just how joyful he is about expanding his family with her, 12 kids or not. But you should see for yourself just how giddy the Punk'd creator looked about the baby that is about to arrive in "eight weeks" by checking out the video below:
I have to say, he does present a really solid case. A+ statistical baby making work, Kutcher.
