The Weeknd's Going On A World Tour

I don't know what your plans are for 2017, but The Weeknd just announced phase one of an enormous world tour that's visiting so many countries and cities that it's probably swooping through your neighborhood at some point. Trust me, you won't want to miss it. So how go you get tickets to The Weeknd's Starboy: Legend of the Fall World Tour ? They go on sale Nov. 4, through LiveNation, so make sure you're ready to scoop one up, because The Weeknd is not effing around.

This is his first-ever world tour, in support of his upcoming album Starboy , which drops Nov. 25, and the amount of stops that he's hitting are making me tired just reading about them. The tour will span North America and Europe, beginning in Stockholm in February, then looping through 14 other major cities in Europe throughout the first half of March. Finally, the tour will cross the pond for its first North American date — Vancouver, British Columbia on Apr. 25.

So The Weeknd did schedule in a little break for himself there, of about a month and a half. But then he's back at it, hitting 25 more cities in Canada and the U.S., including L.A., Brooklyn, Toronto, Montreal, Atlanta, Houston, Chicago, Washington DC, and Seattle, all the way through to Cincinnati on Jun. 9. Phew. And that's just the first phase of the tour, according to The Weeknd's announcement on Twitter.

Dude seriously did not come to play, he's doing this all out. Other artists might have just dipped a toe into the water for their first tour, but not The Weeknd. He's visiting 11 countries and over 40 cities — you know, as you do. Honestly, it's great news for fans, because it makes it very likely that The Weeknd will be close enough to your city that you can catch a show. Make sure you're posted up on LiveNation.com on Nov. 4 so you're able to snag a ticket.
