Jessie James Decker Sparkles At The CMAs

If there's ever an award show I expect to see sequins, sequins, and more sequins, it's the Country Music Awards. That's why when I saw that Jessie James Decker's 2016 CMAs dress was covered in head-to-toe sparkle, I wasn't surprised at all. The night's all about celebrating country music, and this year's 50th anniversary show meant that singers and performers were coming prepared to give it their all — I mean, Beyonce may be performing after all. That's definitely not the norm for this show.

Decker's sequined dress definitely marked the momentous occasion well — she wore a black sequined dress with a halter-esque neckline and cool cutouts that kept it from looking too pageant-y. As usual, she kept her hair and makeup to what she's known for — long, loose waves, dramatic smoky eye makeup and a nude lip that I'd bet is definitely her lip kit from her collab with Alexa Persico.

Decker is usually all about the last-minute choices for her awards show outfits — I mean, this is the woman who picked out her ESPYs outfit 45 minutes before she started getting ready. And according to her Snapchat story yesterday, that's exactly how it went for last night's BMI awards. We'll see if that was the same case for her CMAs dress, but to me this looks nothing like a last minute choice.

How chic does she look? I love the cut of the dress so much — it definitely keeps the whole thing glam-but-chic.

Of course it's not a JJD look without her signature big blonde locks. And according to her Instagram post yesterday from the BMI Country Music Awards, it's all hers.

Yep, that hair is completely extension free. Me and my fine hair are super jealous.

Of course, it takes a lot of effort to look this great. Decker's stylist/BFF Jess Scantlin posted this Instagram of them at the awards, and it looks like her completed look definitely took some work.

I'll be waiting for Decker to Instagram a pic with more details about her dress, outfit, hair and makeup, but in the meantime, these pics from the red carpet are just making me more excited to see the rest of tonight's CMA looks.
