Amanda Seyfried & Her Beau Had A Quick Romance

It looks like all of our Mean Girls are truly growing up before our eyes. Amanda Seyfried is reportedly expecting her first child with actor Thomas Sadoski, to whom she got engaged back in September. According to the reports from People, she announced her pregnancy at a press event for Givenchy. (Bustle has reached out to Seyfried's rep for comment, but has not yet received a response.) The couple went through a whirlwind of a romance, seeming to move along in their relationship fairly quickly, so when did Seyfried and Sadoski start dating?

Their love story has certainly moved quickly, as they met, got engaged, and are, reportedly, having a baby all within two years of knowing each other. Ah, don't we all wish it could all work out so easily? Like a good old-fashioned Hollywood love story, Seyfried and Sadoski met on stage, working together on the off-Broadway play The Way We Get By, back in May 2015. It wasn't until they filmed their next project, The Last Word, in late 2015, that Seyfried and Sadoski started dating, being that both of them had been in relationships when they first met.

When they first met, though, the two had a very high admiration of each other. In an interview with New York's Pix 11, Sadoski had only wonderful things to say about his co-star: "I feel like the luckiest guy in New York right now... One of the great American playwrights, one of the great American directors and a perfect scene partner... I'm a pretty happy guy."

In September 2015, Seyfried was announced to star in The Last Word, in which Sadoski would co-star. Around this time, she broke up with her boyfriend Justin Long, and Sadoski split from his wife, Kimberly Hope, in October of the same year, according to People. The Last Word filmed in February and March 2016, and it was in very early March that People reported Seyfried and Sadoski were dating.

Based on a timeline, Sadoski and Seyfried started dating at some point at the end of 2015, considering they were already public in March 2016. It makes sense that they moved quick because they were friends previously, so congrats to the couple on being totally in love!
