This 'Real Housewives' Star Is Pregnant, Again

Former Real Housewives of Orange County star Lydia McLaughlin is pregnant again, making this the third addition to her family with her husband Doug. Hurray, babies! McLaughlin, who only stayed on the show for one season before calling it quits, had a representative tell Us Weekly that the star “is hoping for a girl!" and that "Both Lydia and Doug are so excited to be adding to their beautiful family.” Now she is going to have another little tike to teach the Lydia Shuffle to!

Although I would typically be worried for any child being born into the world of flashing cameras and cat fights between scary middle-aged women, I have full faith in McLaughlin’s abilities to make sure her child grows up in a healthy environment. She was known as the quirky, chill and bohemian one of the group after all, so that’s a good sign. Plus, she made the wise decision to step out of the spotlight and take a break from reality TV to focus on herself and her family, and I can respect anyone who does that. It’s not always about the fame and money (though she’s still famous and still wealthy. Sigh.).

“I never wanted to make a career out of being a Housewife,” McLaughling told Us Weekly after leaving the show. “That’s never really been a dream of mine. I’ve always been really honest with the producers about that. I knew that while I was filming it that I probably wasn’t going to be doing it again.”

The Real Housewives star recently posed for Us Weekly alongside her two sons, family dog, and husband to show off her absolutely miniscule baby bump in a gorgeous dress and sky-high heels. And of course, she’s not only glowing and has the cutest family ever, but makes us loath her for being the most beautiful mama ever who somehow makes pregnant look so good.
