9 Prom Dresses That Celebrities Would Probably Wear

If you've stepped into a mall lately, you've likely noticed that prom season is upon us. Sequin bodices and full tulle skirts are flooding shop windows, making every American girl swoon in anticipation of finding the perfect dress that'll only be second best to the one she'll wear at her wedding.

In the spirit of the season, we've rounded up nine options that remind us of some of our favorite looks seen on celebrities. Do we think that these women would pick these dresses if they were still in high school? Seeing as how well they rocked them on red carpets and catwalks, we certainly hope so.

A dress almost as memorable as her VMA performance.

Sherri Hill, $480,

We loved the high lacy neck on Cate at the 2014 Golden Globes.

Allison Williams

An open back is unexpectedly sexy when combined with a floor-length skirt.

High slits are ideal for a little leg action. Oh the possibilities for prom photos…

LA Glo Short Strapless Prom Dress with Ruffled Skirt, $129,

This was one of our favorite looks on Nicki, seen here at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards. The model’s even posing the same way! It’s a sign.

Jovani 74120,

Kate Middleton

Kate was perfection in pleats wearing a dress by Jenny Packham. We think her teenage-self would love this similar one from LA Glo. Tiara not included.

LA Glo Long Strapless Pleated Prom Dress, $149,

A mermaid silhouette to show off Bey’s famous figure.

Tulle Mermaid Floor Length With Lace Appliques Nude Illusion, $300,
