The Fate of 'KUWTK' Does Not Make Us Happy

by Lindsay Mannering

Remember that time Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were all about having privacy after launching their epic entrepreneurial venture, North West? Yeah, about that. A friend of their family told Naughty but Nice Rob that Keeping Up With the Kardashians will be on until 2015, despite rumors to the contrary. But get this — the source spun it as a shame that the show will come to an end in two years, not as a holy fuck, we have another two more years of this shit type of way that we would have expected.

Granted, the Kardashians signed a three year deal in 2012 for $40 million, so it's not necessarily a shock that they're sticking around, it's just that after Kim and Kanye were all like, No! Our business plan North West will not be on the show! it's becoming pretty obvious that that's just not the case.

Over the next two years, we'll be subjected to watching Kim figure out motherhood, Kanye figure out how to hide from the camera crew, and we'll get to see North West grow up from just an idea hatched on paper into a full-grown, living, breathing, money-making machine.

The joy.

We're pretty sure only Kim's lackey Jonathan Cheban will be upset if KUWTK went off the air sooner than expected, but then again, we're also pretty sure he's the guy who leaked this "bad news" about them ending the show in the first place. I mean, who else would have said, without irony: " ... all the great shows eventually end, just look at Friends, Oprah and Seinfield."

Thing is, though, the Kardashians are known for their spinoffs. When KUWTK ends, you know that North West & Penelope Disick Take Betty Ford's can't be too far behind.
