First Glimpse of Affleck's Batmobile is Sad

by Anna Klassen

We live in a day and age when not only does a movie's trailer have a teaser, but a film's first images have a teaser as well. Even forthcoming tweets get teased by other tweets. Today, Superman/Batman director Zack Snyder offered one such tweet, by tweeting the first image of the Batmobile covered by a black tarp. We do get to see a glimpse of the vehicle, it's large bulky wheels protruding out the back, but from what we can see so far, Batman's whip looks little different than Christopher Nolan's Batman vehicle. Just like Synder's rolodex of films, this image is equally as disappointing.

With Affleck being compared to Christian Bale at every turn, the least the director could do is offer his Bat-guy an obviously different set of wheels. But hey, if it worked the first time around, it'll work again, right? Whatever — we're still pissed this movie is even happening.

Here's hoping there's a florescent pink bat decal on the front of the hood, because anything would be better than another predictably black tank. Take a look at the first image of Ben Affleck's Batmobile below:
